Yesterday Traci and
I took the kids to the fair for free day. Free to get in. You of course had to pay for everything else. It was fun to see all the animals. It was a little sad though. For a former 4H member. There is probably a quarter of the amount of animals then there were when we were young.
We still had a lot of fun. I told the kids the fair was for the animals, and the food. NOT the rides. So that of course stopped any begging for carnival rides. riiight. After having funnel cakes and fresh squezzed lemonade, not to mention french fries, Aunt Traci did treat them to the pony ride. We had a nice time. When we got home we jumped right into the pool. Fun fun fun.

Sounds like you all had a great time! And I agree with grandma...the kids are adorable!!
What fun! We were at the Becker County Fair ALL week last week. You would be so proud of your cousins - Maren got reserve chanp with her pig and a trip to the MN State Fair. Kelsey got a state fair trip with her lamb and reserve showmanship with both her lamb and her goat. We can set Alex & Elena up with some livestock as soon as you fence the backyard!! Love to you all!
